1/ Myanmar- There is no general minimum wage in Myanmar, yet standards exist for certain sector.Public employees are paid a minimum of MMK 50,000 (US$56.8) per month, whilst day laborers are required to be compensated at least MMMK (2000) (US$2.3) per day of labor.
2/ Cambodia- Effective May 2013, minimum wage of $61 for workers has been increased by $14 and include $5 of health care allowance, bringing the total to $80 as minimum wage per month.
3/ Pakistan-- In June 2013 the federal government has raised the minimum wage from Rs 8,000 to Rs 10,000 per month for unskilled workers.
4/ Vietnam- New minimum wage, varying from VND 1,900 to 2,700 million effective Dec. 31, 2013
5/ Mongolia- The minimum hourly wage rate was set to 1,142.85 MNT effective September 1, 2013
6/ Indonesia-Minimum Wage in DKI Jakarta 2,441,301 Rupiah (highest) and Nusa Tenggara Barat 1, 200, 000 (loest) effective for the year 2014.
7/ China- Lowest minimum wage is Guanxhi (at 830 RMB/month). Highest min. wage is in Shenzhen (at 1,808 RMB/month)-effective 2014
8/ Region IVA-Highest daily minimum wage in Non-Agri. is P349.50 in IV-A (Growth Corridor Area), and the lowest minimum wage is P255.00 (Resourced Based Area)-effective May 15, 2012.
9/ Region VII-Highest daily minimum wage in Non-Agri. is P340.00 in Region VII-effective March 21, 2014
10/ Region III-Highest daily minimum wage in Non-Agri. is P336.00 in Region III, and the lowest minimum wage is P285.00-effective October 11, 2012
11/ Thailand- As of January 1, 2013 the Minimum Wage Rates in Thailand is set at THB 300 (US10.34) per day
12/ Malaysia-Introduction of the country's first minimumwage. The minimum wage set at 800 ringgit per month in the states of Sabah and Sarawak and on the island of Borneo and 900 ringgit per month for workers on the Malaysian Peninsula
13/ NCR-Highest daily minimum wage is P466.00 in NCR, effective October 4, 2013
14/ Taiwan-NT$115 per hour, effective January 1, 2014
15/ Hongkong-Statutory Minimum Wage (SMW) has come inyo force since May 1 2011, Effective May 1 2013 the SMW raised from $28 per hour to $30 per hour.
16/ South Korea -(SK) Minimum wage level per day is 41,680, or 5,210 SK won per hour, Effective 2014
17/ Japan-The highest minimum wage is is Kochi's at 910 yen/hour (7,280 for an 8-hr/day) while thew lowest is 647 yen/hr. (5,176 for an 8hr day in kumamoto, updated March 23, 2014
18/ New Zeland-13.75 per hour (110 per day) for workers 16 years old or older, and NZ$11 per hour (88 for 8hr./day) for those aged 16 or 17 or in training;effective January 2014
19/ Australia-The Federal Minimum Wage was raised to $16.37 per hour or $622.20 per week effective July 1, 2013-June 2014
